Going home

Here's our goofy kids in the back seat watching a movie and eating snacks on the way home from vacation.

Cute little feet

Last year for Father's day we gave Daddy a framed picture of the three kids feet in the sand along with a poem, so we had to get a picture this time with Jude's little feet in there too!

Sweet little friends

We ate dinner with the Stevens and Ailie and Kinley, who were born a few hours apart in the same hospital, got to play together and eat at their own little table. We had so much fun visiting all of our friends and hated to say goodbye again but look forward to future visits!

Ailie...no fear!

She loved the water and got tired of floating around in her boat very quickly. She wanted to jump in like the big kids! Dave could hardly get to her quick enough before she was back up and walking right off the edge again.

Laci and Daddy

Pool time with Daddy always includes getting tossed into the air a few times until Daddy's arms get tired or they swallow too much water. :)

Pool time

We enjoyed taking time on Monday afternoon and Tuesday playing in the pool at the hotel.

Fun with the Flamings

Here we are at Mr. Jake and Miss Meg's house. We had fun eating dinner with them and talking while the kids played games on the iPad and Ailie played with Lily. They loved pretending to cook on Lily's play kitchen and had pots and pans and play food everywhere! The kids got to spend the night which was reminiscent of when they stayed with them while Ailie was born. Micah got a ride in Mr. Jake's Volkswagon Bug while Laci got to feed Lily applesauce. Jude had fun eating and sleeping like usual while we were there. :)

Laci and Annalise

The girls had fun playing with the noodles and could hardly hold still long enough for a picture. Such a fun day!

Best Friends from Wilmington!

After we left Greenville, we went to Wilmington to visit all of the friends we love and miss! We got to spend time with the Coats having lunch and letting the kids swim in the pool. Here's Corwin, Ailie, Micah and Hunter (Micah's best friend). Ailie loved having Corwin pull her around the pool....I think she would have stayed in the pool all day if she could have. Micah and Hunter had fun diving for things under water.

Kissin Cousins :)

Ailie and Isaac had alot of fun playing together while we were there. We got to see cousins like Isaac and Elle that we hadn't seen for a year and were able to meet new cousins like Hudson and Samantha and introduce them to Jude!

The kids are always hilarious when they start to coo.  Here is Jude doing his best to communicate with Daddy.

This is our little Ailie!

She hopped into the swing after Jenny took Jude out.  She was going to town shaking the bars and swinging herself.

Here goes!

Jenny and I have been discussing, while on our vacation, the best method for keeping some of our family and friends a bit more informed on the life and times of our family.  We thought a blog where we could post pics and funny stories might be a way to help me stay better in touch with all the people I should be calling, texting or emailing; but don't as often as I wish we could.
